Places of Peace

Three Photographs by Cindy Stewart

As a writer and photographer, I find inspiration and connection when I am spending time in Nature. I grew up taking walks in the woods, listening to birds, and observing wildlife with my family. These were the activities we sought out and celebrated, and the activities I have embraced throughout my life.

The conservation land near my home in Massachusetts and the nearby Charles River provide a rich environment for my creativity. I seek out destinations that will provide opportunities to photograph both fauna and flora, whether I’m taking an afternoon hike on a local trail or visiting the Díseart Gardens in Dingle, Ireland.
